Grandmother Spider spins her webby wheel
round and round in an eternal reel
strands of silky gossamer thread
for choices we make both good and bad
are life’s weapons to make us happy or sad
will your fortune be one of delight or strife
as you travel the great circle of life

North, South, East, West
which choice will suit you best

up down and all around
it can be hard to find your center ground

choose carefully which of her threads you walk
at life’s many trying challenges do not balk
will your fortune be one of delight or strife

in deceit dishonour and disillusionment do not be tangled
for that part of life’s great web will leave you mangled
take joy in your life’s chosen mission

our energy travels the wheel round and round
until it’s point of origin again is found
